Jenisch house (I)

The Jenisch house was built between 1831 and 1834 and was opened to the public almost a hundred years later as a museum with the surrounding park. The shadow play of the large trees on the Elbe side of the house is great.

It’s lovely to stroll through the garden on a sunny day. Everywhere people sit on outdoor chairs in the sun or have their bikes parked at the foot of the trees. Today the park belongs to the residents of Hamburg with their children and dogs and it is fun to sit down and watch them play and romp.

The infrared photographs are among the most beautiful I have taken so far. The trees are so stately and make up a large part of the motif, the sky is almost cloudless to give the motif the necessary peace.

    Hallo Marc!

    Roswitha
