Bee in Monarda Didyma (0020)
| 2 BILDER IM BLOGBEITRAG | No Comments

We put this bee-friendly plant on our terrace as a tub plant. From the beginning, it was besieged with wild bees for many weeks, flying from flower to flower. I had many opportunities to photograph the bees as they dove under the large petal. But it was also fortunate that I got one time to photograph it with its eye in focus, most of the time it had quickly dived into the calyx.

It was nice when the bee came out of the flower cup again. It looked like she was lifting the upper petal up like a weight lifter to get her wings free again for takeoff. Or how would you interpret the following picture?
