This is one of my most impressive moss pictures from Iceland. The whole day it was raining fine and again it was appropriate to look down more than into the gray sky. Here close to the riverbed the moss is almost neon green. In addition — again — the extremely strong contrast to the lava or ash layers of earlier volcanic eruptions. It’s no wonder that I fell in love with this landscape!
