The St. Jakobi Church in Schwabstedt is a centuries-old small church on the beach edge of the Treene lowland. A photo friend of mine is there pastor and portrays this church in 2019 with a 365 days — 365 photos project under the title »Eye Prayers«. I couldn’t resist seeing this jewel with my eyes and bringing some photos with me.
There is a special light situation in spring and late summer, so the rosette window in the apse faces east. In the morning of the departure day I could still experience this, the pictures of it follow in an own blog post.
