Old laundry room

The museum cartwright lures with Café Peters with coffee and cake. But I was amazed when I came from the backyard into the building to find a fully functional laundry room! Here the museum laundry is even cleaned with a washing bobbin. In the corner there is an oven for cooking laundry and a washboard. That even here the tools are still complete is wonderful. The colors of the tiles and the wall paint do the rest.

 

Outside in the yard hangs the laundry of the cartwrights and the maid to dry.
