In the early hours of the morning, I had waited for the sun to rise on this stretch of coast. Now I had come back here at sunset to take in different light mood. And how different it was! There were practically no more clouds in the sky. The sun had now moved to the south-southwest and was shining at a shallow angle over the land behind me. It had just come out from behind the mountains to the south and was now illuminating not only the mountains on the other side of the fjord, but also a few rocks in the foreground.
The warm light on the rocks was almost summer-like, only the last remnants of snow on the mountains in the background still betrayed something of the winter season.
