Finally once there were great clouds over the city at the end of the day and so I quickly drove to the Alster to capture the view over the Binnenalster to the Ballindamm in this picture. Since the trees seem so small here, the clouds do the rest to strengthen the image impression of this infrared photography.
In the picture, partly covered by the Alster fountain, you can see the main building of the Hapag Lloyd shipping company. About 20 years ago I was in the building several times because the shipping company was a client of my former employer. To the right of it you can see the church tower of the main church St. Jacobi, which is located on Steinstraße.
