Contrary to my fog‐photographs, which I published last week, this black‐and‐white photograph comes along. Actually, the fog was as colorful as it was when we took the picture of the marina.
In this photograph of the waterfront promenade at Baumwall, however, I would like to reduce the subject to the strong contrasts of the floodlights and the diagonally sloping lines of their posts. Again the fog helps to make many restless elements disappear from the background! Only very weakly one can still see the subway sign in the background.
