The Little Water Frog is the Lurch of the Year 2023 and this one loves in our nature garden pond behind the house. According to information from Nabu, this frog is an »inhabitant of quiet forest ponds«. Even more a compliment for our small nature garden behind the house.
From time to time we hear him croak softly, but mostly we only hear him when we approach the pond without thinking and he then hops into the pond with a loud »Plonsch«.
