Iceland - View into the valley

In the highlands of Iceland there are interlaced river valleys that run between the various ridges. Down to the river banks the black of the lava slopes and at the same time the moss, which can already be seen at the top of the mountain slopes. Down in the river plain only moss prevails. No tree is to be seen in this meager landscape.
