Moss lines on the ridge

On this ridge, the moss was applied in lines as if a model maker had draped it. I just wondered how such evenly arranged courses could be created in nature, but obviously the water flows down the mountainside in evenly arranged erosion channels.

There was a great color contrast here between the black slope and the vibrant green of the moss. It was just an advantage that it was drizzling almost non-stop.
