During the days on Sylt in the morning hours I was always drawn to the mudflat side in Keitum — mostly on my way to the bakery. Every morning there was a different light atmosphere. The special thing about the time before sunrise with a view to the east is that the sky is already brighter, but before that the darker clouds stand out. That was this morning with a special purple color mood, which was also reflected at low tide on the almost dry tidal flats.
Some time later, the sun rose between the clouds and I could continue my way to the baker to get some rolls for breakfast.
