Gap Crocus on the Ground

After a cold night, it looked as if the crocus had given up between the paving stones. Not only had the flower not opened during the day, it had also bent over and was now lying on the cold stones.

However, when the sun came out and bees offered to transport the pollen, our crocus picked up again and opened its flower!
