Keitum - Takerwai No. 2 (0241)
| 14 IMAGES IN THE BLOGPOST | No Comments

It is too beautiful to simply walk through this old Frisian village with a camera and one lens. Until the 18th century many whaling captains lived in Keitum and built beautiful houses. They stand today still quite closely together, because they did not possess barns and therefore also stood on smaller properties.

Especially in the Takerwai there are several pieces of jewellery to admire and to discover as a photographer. Again and again I noticed small details at the houses and captured them in the picture.
To my surprise many of the farmer gardens around the houses were still in bloom, as well as the many typical roses on the frisian walls or at the house entrances.

This time I have included the pictures as a large gallery in my blog post, so they can be loaded large and browsed with one click.
