I was able to take this picture at the beautiful blue hour 10 days before the opening of the new underground station in Hamburg. At these days this lighting mood is unfortunately very rare to see, so I was even happier to have been in Hamburg that evening.
The subway station Elbbrücken was designed by the architects von Gerkan, Marg und Partner and is a gem at the end of the growing Hafencity — or at the beginning, when you cross the River Elbe bridges into the Hafencity. That evening I could see the warm light of the lighting reflected in the glass dome of the station. Awesome! I’m looking forward to more pictures that I can take there after the station opened on 12/6/2018.
